Resources

Ohio Yearly Meeting makes a number of resources available to support long-time and new Friends.

The Ohio Yearly Meeting Podcast represents a rich and deep exploration of Scripture and traditional Quaker thought.

The Library includes some major texts written by traditional Quakers. Some of these texts survive from the 1650s. Despite the apparent “age”of some of the texts, the texts provide remarkably contemporary, important, and thoughtful Spiritual-insights today.

The Ohio Yearly Meeting periodically publishes The Conservative Friend journal. The journal explores conservative Quaker thought, Spiritual practices, reflectons, and insights—both present and past.

The Resources Section provides comprehensive access to key documents used by conservative Quakers such as Queries (used for reflection on individual and collective Spiritual practice), Advices (used to guide or prompt Spiritual practice), and the Book of Discipline (overall rules used by conservative Quakers and Ohio Yearly Meeting associated Meetings).
